About Get Classically Educated

Our Story

Why We Started Get Classically Educated

Get Classically Educated was founded out of a conviction that education should form thinkers — not just task-completers.

After years of experience in both traditional and homeschool settings, we saw a growing need for structured academic guidance that preserved the flexibility families value. Many parents desired a clear progression, meaningful discussion, and intellectual depth without committing to a full-day virtual school model.

Get Classically Educated was created to meet that need: a thoughtfully structured online classical homeschool program designed to cultivate independence and disciplined thinking beginning at age eight.

Our Mission

Our mission is to equip students with the habits of mind and communication skills that prepare them for life — not just academics.

We believe education should:
Develop critical thinking
Strengthen articulate communication
Encourage intellectual curiosity
Build personal responsibility
Foster steady academic growth

Through structured weekly expectations and guided instruction, we support both students and parents without removing the flexibility that makes homeschooling meaningful.

Our Educational Philosophy

Our program follows the time-tested framework of the classical Trivium — Grammar, Dialectic, and Rhetoric — aligned with key developmental stages.

Rather than emphasizing busywork or rapid acceleration, we prioritize depth, logical progression, and meaningful engagement with literature, history, and ideas.
